Every whisker, drawn by hand.
Every pet has a little story: the head tilt, the favourite collar, the look they save just for you. I capture it in timeless coloured pencil and graphite, drawn from your own photos. The pawfect gift, keepsake or memorial.

The stories behind the portraits
Behind every portrait is a pet who is loved and the people who love them. Here's what some of them said, and every one gave 5 stars.
“This artist has done an exceptional job at capturing our cat's cheeky little personality… to have something so personal to remind us of him means the world to me and my family.”
“Beautiful detail and Lottie's little character has been captured perfectly. This wonderful portrait of our very loved Lottie will be treasured always.”
“Lucy has really captured my puppy's likeness. From his fluffy, curly ears to his loving eyes. I'm absolutely delighted with my drawing.”
“Amazing work by Lucy. Fantastic drawing done with a lot of care and attention to detail. Great communication throughout.”
Hi, I'm Lucy.
I'm the artist behind Pawtrait Studio by LRT. It all started with Ralph, our cockapoo, who's the inspiration behind my work. Our pets are family, and I love creating something that captures who they really are: the expression, the fur, the little quirks only their people notice.
I think of every commission as a little story. It might be a puppy's first year, a best friend of fifteen years, or a much-missed companion remembered. Each one is drawn entirely by hand, layer by layer, from your own photographs, with the same care every time.
Little Stories began with pets, and they're still at the heart of what I draw. In time I'd love to capture even more types of stories, from wildlife to locations, so watch this space.
Let's draw your pet
Tell me about your pet, their little story and the portrait you'd like. Everything happens through my Etsy shop, so your order, messages and payment are all in one place.
Do portraits come framed?
They're mounted but not framed, so you can choose a frame that suits your home.
How long will it take?
Around 2–3 weeks of drawing once started. The wait before that depends on the queue, and I'll tell you when I accept your order. If it's a gift for a date, mention it!
Can you draw a pet who has passed away?
Of course. Memorial portraits are some of the most meaningful pieces I draw. Send the best photos you have and we'll work from those together.
Can I return a portrait?
As each portrait is custom made, returns aren't accepted, but you'll approve a photo of the finished piece before it ships, and if there's ever a problem, please get in touch.
Where do you ship?
I ship across the UK. For anywhere else, send a message and I'll check options.
Ready to tell their little story?
Choose your size and pay securely on Etsy, or send me a message there first with any questions. I'll reply personally.
